If graduates wish to register with the IMTTA and it is more than two years after graduating from any IMTTA training course (through any IMTTA licensed training provider) – and they have not previous been registered, they will be considered to have been away from the field for more than two years. In this case, they will need to complete the Certificate Revision course.
To enrol in the Certificate Revision Course, either for the purpose of gaining IMTTA membership or to update and revise previously gained skills
The Certificate Revision Course is conducted completely online through the IMTTA and is available to any previous graduate of the IMTTA Certificate in Meditation Teaching and Holistic Human Development, through any IMTTA licensed training provider.
To complete the Certificate Revision Course through the IMTTA, students are provided access to the IMTTA online classroom where they can obtain all of the course modules for the IMTTA Certificate in Meditation Teaching and Holistic Human Development.
They are required to read through (revise) all of the modules and may discover changes and/or updates since they last undertook the course.
Revising students are not required to complete any assignments or hand in submissions for any course modules except for two.
These are module 9 and module 12 (final exam). These submission forms must be emailed to the course supervisor for assessment.
If the revising student gains an assessment score of 85% or higher, on both the module 9 and module 12/final exam submissions, they will have passed the Certificate Revision Course and will receive an updated certificate, including all of the badges from the current accrediting bodies.
They will also receive a free year of registration with the IMTTA.
If the revising student gains an assessment score of 84% or less on either the module 9 and/or module 12/final exam submissions, they will not have passed the Certificate Revision Course.
In this case, the student will not receive a new graduation certificate, or be able to register with the IMTTA.
However, they will have the opportunity to repeat the certificate course, in full, through any IMTTA Training provider as a 'new' student and will need to pay the full course fee charged by the training provider they choose to enrol with.
